About Cookbook Alley
The original concept behind Cookbook Alley was to provide a place to find old and rare cookbooks that have been out of print for quite some time. Having a love of old cookbooks and an appreciation for older methods of cooking and resolving kitchen problems, we at Cookbook Alley believe that there are others out there who collect recipes for a variety of reasons but mostly because they love cooking.
Although Cookbook Alley was designed to be a book store it has become so much more. It was decided that we should take our love of vintage cooking and share the tips and secrets lost through the generations along with creatively new methods.
Understanding this, Cookbook Alley evolved from a simple book store to the home of Annie Devlin, aka “Cooking Annie”, vibrant recipes, tips and hints both old and new, innovative cooking methods and techniques, and the knowledge that food brings people closer together.
